Metellus Scipio (Scipion) – Another of Caesar’s enemies, allied to Pompey. Caesar defeated him in the Battle of Thapsus, as depicted in Asterix the Legionary. Note that Pompey doesn’t make an appearance, as he was assassinated before these events took place.
Spartacus – Gladiator and rebellion leader, resembling Kirk Douglas in Spartacus. Appears in Asterix and Obelix All at Sea although in the album he is a Greek named Spartakis, and is accompanied by a group of multi-national slaves after stealing Caesar’s own galley.
